This means one sibling’s work will never be recorded as another sibling’s progress, as long as each child signs in using their own student account.

What Does Each Student’s Dashboard Track?

A student’s work is recorded under their individual account.

Depending on the class and activity, the account may track:

• Lessons opened and completed
• Overall course progress
• Classes the student has started
• Classes the student has completed
• Quiz and assessment activity
• Instructor-graded assignment submissions
• Course completion
• Other activity completed within the student account

One child completing a lesson does not mark that lesson complete for a sibling.

For example, if two children both take the same science class:

• Each child may move through the course at a different pace
• Each child earns their own certificate after completing the course

Will Every Child See the Same Classes?

Not necessarily.

Each student’s dashboard is set up around the grade level submitted on the Learner Enrollment Form.

Students in kindergarten through 8th grade generally receive access to:

• Their assigned grade level
• One grade level below
• One grade level above

For example, a 7th-grade student generally receives access to 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade classes.

A younger sibling registered in 4th grade would receive a different range of classes based on that student’s grade level.

High school students generally receive access to all available high school classes so families can select courses based on previous credits, graduation requirements, readiness, and future plans.

Some electives and general Homeschool Pro resources may appear in more than one child’s account.

Can Siblings Take the Same Class?

Yes. Siblings can take the same class when it is appropriate for both of them.

Even when they take the same course, each student uses their own account. Their progress remains separate.

For example, two siblings taking an art elective could:

• Begin on different dates
• Watch the lessons separately
• Complete different projects
• Move at different speeds
• Earn separate certificates

One sibling can finish the class without affecting the other sibling’s account.

Can Each Child Work at a Different Grade Level?

Yes. Each student can work at the level that fits them.

One child might take:

• 8th-grade math
• 7th-grade science
• 6th-grade ELA
• Interest-based electives

A sibling might take an entirely different combination.

Children are not expected to take the same classes simply because they belong to the same family or use the same membership.

Does Each Child Need a Separate Email and Login?

How Can Parents Review Each Child’s Progress?

Student coursework is found in the individual student account.

Parents can periodically sign in with each child or review the dashboard together to check:

• Classes under In Progress
• Course completion percentages
• Lessons completed
• Quiz activity
• Current assignments

Because each child has a separate dashboard, parents should review each account individually.

The Parent Portal is separate from the student classroom. It contains program information, forms, guides, announcements, and parent resources, while academic lessons and student progress are located in the student accounts.

Does Each Child Receive Their Own Certificate Portal?

Yes. Each student receives their own private Student Certificate Portal.

The portal keeps that student’s completed-course certificates together under their individual profile. Each student can have their own profile photo, cover image, short bio, and certificate collection.

The Certificate Portal is separate from the classroom dashboard, but it is connected to the individual student.

Each student’s portal may include:

• Certificates for eligible completed courses
• A unique Certificate ID for each certificate
• Online certificate verification
• Attached course syllabi
• Downloading and printing options
• Certificate sharing options
• A personalized student profile
• LinkedIn sharing for eligible older students

Certificates earned by one sibling will not appear inside another sibling’s Certificate Portal.

Can Siblings Personalize Their Certificate Portals Differently?

Yes. Each student can have a completely different profile.

For example:

• A younger child may choose a colorful banner and favorite photo.
• An older student may create a more professional profile.
• One student may write a bio about art or music.
• Another may highlight science, engineering, sports, or a future career.
• An eligible older student may connect their LinkedIn profile.

Parents can help younger students personalize their portals and review the information before anything is shared.

How Do I Add All of My Children?

After purchasing the membership, complete the Learner Enrollment Form in the Parent Portal.

You can include all of your students on one form. Enter the information for every child who needs an account.

For each student, provide:

• The student’s correct full name
• Their individual grade level
• The other requested enrollment information

Enter each student’s name exactly as you want it to appear on their Student ID, certificates, transcript, and diploma.

After the student accounts are created, the family receives separate login information for each child.

What If I Added Only One Child at First?

You can add another eligible child later without purchasing another membership while the applicable family coverage remains active.

Complete the Learner Enrollment Form again with the additional student’s information. The new child will receive their own account and dashboard rather than being added inside an existing sibling’s student account.

What If Two Children’s Progress Appears Mixed Together?

This usually means both children have been using the same student login.

First:

1. Confirm which student account is currently open.
2. Sign out completely.
3. Sign in using the correct student’s credentials.
4. Check whether the expected classes and progress appear.

If work was accidentally completed under the wrong sibling’s account, contact Customer Service and include:

• Both students’ full names
• Both student email addresses
• The class name
• The lessons or activities affected
• A brief explanation of what happened
• Screenshots, when available

Some progress may not be transferable between accounts, so it is important to confirm the student name before beginning lessons.
