You can update an expiring credit card or switch to a different card from the Billing section of your Parent Portal.

The subscription and payment information are connected to the parent account used to purchase Homeschool Pro. Make sure you are signed in with that parent account before beginning.

How to Update Your Credit Card

  1. Sign in to the Parent Portal using the parent email address associated with your Homeschool Pro membership.
  2. Open My Account in the left-hand menu, then select Profile.

Select Billing from the profile menu.

  1. Under Your Credit Card, select Edit.

Select Edit beside the credit card currently saved to your account.

  1. Enter the requested information for your new credit card.
  2. Select Update to save the new payment method.

Enter the new card information and select Update.

Your updated card will then be saved to your parent account for future subscription billing.

Tip: Update an expiring card before your next renewal date to help prevent an interruption to your Homeschool Pro membership.

What If I Do Not See My Subscription?

First, make sure you are signed in to the correct account.

A common issue is that a parent is signed in with the student’s account. The student account provides access to classes, but the Homeschool Pro subscription and payment information are stored under the parent account.

Try these steps:

  1. Sign out of the account you are currently using.
  2. Return to the Parent Portal login page.
  3. Sign in with the parent email address used when purchasing the membership.
  4. Open My Account, select Profile, and then select Billing.

Do not use your student’s @remotelearning.school email address to manage billing.

If you have more than one personal email address, check your original purchase confirmation to see which parent email address was used to purchase the membership.

Another reason the cancel button is not there is if you have purchased the semi-annual or annual memberships. Those do not renew automatically at the end of the period, thus are not considered subscriptions.

Can Customer Service Update My Credit Card for Me?

No. Customer service cannot enter, replace, or update credit card information on your behalf.

For security, the account holder must update the payment method directly in the Parent Portal. Our support team can help you locate the correct account or find the Billing section, but they cannot accept or enter your card details.

Important: Never send your full credit card number, expiration date, or security code by email or through a support message.

What If I Still Cannot Access My Billing Information?

Please contact us and include:

  • The email address you believe was used for the purchase
  • The name of the membership
  • A screenshot of what you see in the Parent Portal, with any sensitive information hidden
