How do I change the grade level of my student?

When you enrolled your student in Homeschool Pro, you provided their current grade level on the Learner Enrollment Form.

If the grade was entered incorrectly or needs to be updated, please contact us for assistance. We will update the grade level connected to the student’s account.

What to Include in Your Request

To help us make the change, please include:

• The student’s full name
• The student’s @remotelearning.school email address
• The parent email address associated with the membership
• The student’s current grade level
• The new grade level you would like assigned

Do I Need to Change the Grade Level to Access a Different Class?

Not always. Homeschool Pro gives students flexible access to classes beyond their assigned grade level.

Students in kindergarten through 8th grade generally have access to classes at their assigned grade level, one grade level below, and one grade level above. High school students have access to all available high school classes.

If your student only needs a particular class at another level, you may not need to change their official grade. You can contact us and request that the specific class be added to the student’s account instead.

This flexibility allows families to use the online homeschool curriculum at the level that fits the student in each subject. For example, a student may work at their assigned grade level in language arts while using a different level for math.
