Homeschool Pro is a secular K-12 online homeschool curriculum. The lessons are not taught from the perspective of any particular religion, and include subjects such as evolution where they are part of the curriculum. Religious instruction is not included as a required part of the curriculum.
Families from many different faith backgrounds still use Homeschool Pro. They can use our curriculum for core academics, electives, and enrichment while adding Bible lessons, religious studies, or other faith-based materials from a source of their choice.
Can Faith-Based Families Use Homeschool Pro?
Yes. Many faith-based families use Homeschool Pro for core academic subjects, electives, and enrichment while providing religious instruction separately.
For example, families may add their own:
- Bible lessons or devotional studies
- Religious education from another homeschool curriculum
- Lessons provided by a church, synagogue, mosque, or other faith community
- Family-selected books, activities, and religious studies
- Faith-based discussions connected to the subjects their student is learning
Because Homeschool Pro is self-paced, families can easily include religious instruction in their daily or weekly homeschool schedule.
Can We Combine Homeschool Pro With a Faith-Based Curriculum?
Yes. You can use as much or as little of the Homeschool Pro curriculum as your family needs.
Some families use Homeschool Pro for all core academic subjects and add a separate Bible or religious studies course. Others continue using a faith-based curriculum they already like and use Homeschool Pro for selected subjects, electives, additional practice, or teacher-led instruction.
For example, a family might use:
- Homeschool Pro for math, science, language arts, and electives
- A separate faith-based program for Bible study and religious education
- Family or community resources for additional faith instruction
Your student is not required to complete every class available in their account.
Is Homeschool Pro a Bible-Based Curriculum?
No. Homeschool Pro is not a Bible-based or specifically Christian curriculum, and religious teachings are not incorporated into every subject.
Families looking for a curriculum in which all academic subjects are taught through a particular faith perspective would need to add those materials separately. Homeschool Pro’s flexible structure makes it easy to combine our secular curriculum with the religious resources your family chooses.
This allows parents to remain in control of both their student’s academic education and faith instruction.
