What are the requirements for student ID card photos?

Student ID Card Photo Requirements

  • Make sure the student’s face and shoulders are clearly visible.
  • The student should face the camera directly.
  • The student’s eyes should be open and clearly visible.
  • Do not include sunglasses, hats, or other items that obscure the student’s face.
  • Do not include headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items.
  • The student must be the only person in the photo.
  • Use a natural expression, such as a smile or neutral expression.
  • Do not use a scan or a photograph of a printed photo.

If you choose an existing image from your device, use a file in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format.
