Homeschool Pro classes are pre-recorded by the teacher rather than held as live video sessions. Students can open their lessons when it works for their schedule and move through the curriculum at their own pace.
Does My Student Need to Attend at a Certain Time?
No. Homeschool Pro classes do not require students to log in for a scheduled class meeting.
Your student can sign in and begin or continue a lesson at any convenient time. This makes it easier to plan online homeschooling around family schedules, appointments, extracurricular activities, travel, and other commitments.
Can My Student Pause or Rewatch a Lesson?
Yes. Students can pause, rewind, and rewatch class videos as many times as needed.
This can be especially helpful when a student wants to:
- Take notes during a lesson
- Hear an explanation again
- Spend more time on a difficult concept
- Review material before a quiz or assignment
- Return to a previous topic for a refresher
Students are not expected to understand every concept after hearing it only once. Being able to revisit the teacher’s explanation allows each child to learn at a pace that works for them.
Are the Classes Still Taught by Teachers?
Yes. Homeschool Pro uses teacher-led, pre-recorded video lessons. Depending on the class, students may also receive worksheets, Study Guides, quizzes, written assignments, and other activities that support the lesson.
The pre-recorded format combines teacher instruction with the flexibility families often look for in a K-12 online homeschool curriculum. A student can spend extra time in one subject while moving more quickly through material they already understand.
