Can I purchase just one class?

Homeschool Pro classes are not sold individually. Instead, one membership gives your student access to the full curriculum available for their grade-level range, with no separate fee for each class.

However, your student does not have to use the entire curriculum. If you are interested in only one particular class, your student can take that class and simply leave the others unused.

Can My Student Take Only One Class?

Yes. Although your membership includes access to many classes, your student can take as many or as few as needed.

For example, you might use Homeschool Pro for:

  • One subject your student needs help with
  • An elective that is not available through another curriculum
  • A more advanced class in a strong subject
  • Review of material from an earlier grade
  • Music, art, language, STEM, or personal finance
  • One course needed for a high school plan

There is no requirement to complete every class available in the student’s account.

Why Are Classes Not Sold Separately?

Providing full curriculum access gives families more flexibility than limiting each student to one purchased course or a small number of assigned classes.

With one membership, your student can:

  • Begin the class that originally interested you
  • Add another subject later without paying an additional course fee
  • Review an earlier-level class when needed
  • Explore electives and enrichment subjects
  • Change classes as their interests or academic needs change

This means you do not have to predict every class your student may need before purchasing.

Can I Use Homeschool Pro With Another Curriculum?

Yes. Many families already have a curriculum they like and use Homeschool Pro only as a supplement.

You can continue using your current curriculum and add one or more Homeschool Pro classes where they are most helpful. Your family remains in control of which courses the student completes.

Homeschool Pro can also be used as a complete K-12 online homeschool curriculum if your needs change later.

Which Classes Will My Student Be Able to Access?

Students in kindergarten through 8th grade generally receive access to:

  • Their assigned grade level
  • One grade level below
  • One grade level above

High school students receive access to all available high school classes.

If the specific class you want is outside your student’s current grade-level access, please contact us. We can review the request and open additional class or grade-level access when appropriate.

Which Membership Should I Choose?

If your child is homeschooling, Homeschool Pro is the appropriate membership. It includes the online curriculum along with homeschool-focused services such as Homeschool Advisor support, applicable instructor grading, student ID cards, certificates, transcripts, and recordkeeping assistance.

If your child remains enrolled in public or private school and only wants extra practice or enrichment, Afterschool Plus™ may be a better fit. Afterschool Plus provides supplemental class access but is not designed to serve as a complete homeschool program.

Are There Additional Charges for Taking More Classes?

No. Once your student has access through the membership, there is no separate charge each time they begin another included class.

Your student may take only the one class you originally wanted, or explore additional classes later without paying per-course fees.
