How do I access the Student Certificate Portal?

6 min. readlast update: 08.22.2026

To access the Homeschool Pro Student Certificate Portal, use your student’s official @remotelearning.school email address. Do not use the parent email address.

The portal sends a secure six-digit verification code to the student’s RemoteLearning.School email inbox. Once the code is entered, you can view the student’s profile and issued course certificates.

Important: A parent can complete these steps for the student, but the student’s official school email address must be used. Certificates and verification codes are connected to the individual student account.

The Student Certificate Portal is separate from the Parent Portal and student classroom. Some login screens may refer to it as Remote Learning School’s Credential Library. This is the same Student Certificate Portal.

See What Awaits Inside the Portal

Once you are signed in, the Student Certificate Portal gives each student a personal place to view and celebrate their completed-course certificates.

In this video, three Homeschool Pro siblings use the portal in different ways. The younger student proudly displays and prints his certificate, his sister personalizes her profile with her own photo and banner, and their older brother adds an Aerospace Engineering certificate to LinkedIn as part of his growing professional record.

See how one Homeschool Pro family uses the Certificate Portal to celebrate accomplishments, personalize student profiles, print certificates, and build toward future goals.

Before You Begin

You will need:

  • The student’s full @remotelearning.school email address

Each student has their own Certificate Portal. If you have more than one child enrolled, repeat the login process using each student’s individual school email address.

Step 3: Enter the Student’s School Email Address

Enter the student’s complete @remotelearning.school email address.

For example:

Do not enter:

  • The parent email address used to purchase the membership
  • A personal Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or other email address
  • Another sibling’s RemoteLearning.School email address

The Certificate Portal is connected to the individual student account, so using the wrong email may open the wrong profile or display no certificates.

Enter the student’s official RemoteLearning.School email address and select Send Verification Code.

Tip: The student’s school inbox will also receive a notification whenever a new certificate is issued, so it can be helpful to check it periodically.

Step 6: Enter the Verification Code

Return to the Certificate Portal and enter the six-digit code from the email.

Select Verify to complete the login.

The code is a temporary security code. Enter it promptly after receiving it.

Enter the six-digit verification code sent to the student’s email address, then select Verify.

Once verified, the student’s Certificate Portal will open.

What If the Verification Code Does Not Arrive?

Try the following:

  1. Confirm the email address. Make sure you entered the student’s complete @remotelearning.school email address with no spelling errors.
  2. Check spam, junk, and promotions folders.
  3. Wait a few minutes. Delivery may occasionally be delayed.
  4. Select Resend Code. Use the resend option on the verification screen to request a new code.
  5. Make sure you are checking the student’s school inbox. The code is not sent to the parent’s personal email address.

Use the newest code received if you requested more than one.

What If I Cannot Access the Student’s Email Inbox?

Make sure you are using:

  • The student’s complete @remotelearning.school email address
  • The correct student email password
  • The webmail login at remotelearning.school/webmail

The password is case-sensitive.

If you cannot locate the student’s email credentials or the login does not work, please contact us and include:

  • The parent email associated with the membership
  • The student’s full name
  • The student’s @remotelearning.school email address, if available
  • A screenshot of any error message

Why Is the Certificate Portal Empty?

An empty portal usually does not mean anything is wrong.

The most common reasons are:

The Student Has Not Completed an Eligible Course Yet

Certificates appear automatically after eligible courses are completed. A new student’s portal may remain empty until their first certificate is issued.

The Wrong Email Address Was Used

Confirm that you logged in using the correct student’s official @remotelearning.school email address rather than the parent email or another sibling’s account.

An Older Certificate Is Still Being Migrated

Certificates earned in previous school years are being migrated gradually from JuniorFolio into the new Student Certificate Portal.

Some older certificates may not appear immediately. Once the migration is complete, both current and past course certificates will be organized together in the new portal.

How Do I Access Certificates for More Than One Student?

Each student has a separate Certificate Portal connected to their own RemoteLearning.School email address.

To access another student’s certificates:

  1. Sign out of the current Certificate Portal account.
  2. Select Account.
  3. Select Login and then Login with Email.
  4. Enter the other student’s @remotelearning.school email address.
  5. Retrieve the verification code from that student’s school inbox.
  6. Enter the code and select Verify.

Do not use one student’s email address to look for another sibling’s certificates.

Do I Need to Create a New Password for the Certificate Portal?

The Certificate Portal uses a secure email verification code for access.

You will still need the student’s existing email password to open their RemoteLearning.School inbox and retrieve that code, but the portal login itself is completed with the verification code.

What Can I Do After Logging In?

Once inside the Student Certificate Portal, your family can:

  • View certificates for completed courses
  • Open individual certificate details
  • Verify certificates online
  • View attached course syllabi
  • Download certificates as images or PDFs
  • Print certificates
  • Download certificate or profile QR codes
  • Share certificates with family or evaluators
  • Personalize the student’s profile
  • Add eligible certificates to LinkedIn for older students
