How do I pause my subscription?

You can temporarily pause a recurring Homeschool Pro subscription by contacting us. Subscription pauses cannot be scheduled through the Billing section of the Parent Portal, so our customer service team must process the request for you.

Pausing can be helpful when your family plans to take a temporary break, such as during the summer, but expects to return to Homeschool Pro later.

How to Request a Subscription Pause

Please use our Contact Us and include:

• The email address associated with the membership
• The date you want the pause to begin
• The date you want the pause to end

Please send your request before the date you would like the pause to begin. Our team will confirm the pause and provide any relevant information about your billing schedule and account access.

Important: There is no pause button in the Parent Portal. Selecting Cancel in the Billing section will cancel the subscription rather than temporarily pause it.

Should I Pause or Cancel My Subscription?

If you already know that your family plans to return after a temporary break, we recommend requesting a pause rather than canceling and purchasing another membership later.

Pausing can help you:

• Avoid charges during the approved break
• Keep your existing membership in place
• Resume more easily when your break ends
• Preserve your current membership price in case plan prices increase before you return

If you cancel and later purchase a new subscription, the new membership will be offered at the price available at that time.

What Dates Should I Provide?

Include both:

1. Pause start date: The date you want the temporary pause to begin.
2. Pause end date: The date you want the subscription to resume.

For example:

Please pause my subscription from June 1 through August 15.

Providing both dates helps us process the request correctly and confirm when the membership will resume.

Can I Pause a Lifetime Membership?

A lifetime membership does not have recurring charges, so there is no subscription billing to pause.

Your family can simply take a break from the classes and return whenever you are ready.
